Jumped straight from the competition pool to the 25-yard square training pool for a quick 1,200 yards—just to tick it off the list! I’d overheard someone earlier chatting with the lifeguard about how warm the water is in this pool, and they weren’t wrong! In hindsight, I should’ve started with this hot pool and saved the cool competition pool for last!

With the swim done, it’s time to head to **The Fin Hotel** and grab some food across the street to join the locals watching the **San Diego Padres** take on the **Los Angeles Dodgers** in a divisional series game. Also planning to explore Oceanside a bit, including a visit to the **Top Gun house**!
